Child Safety Seat Program
Community Rescue Services provides Child Safety Seat inspections to parents and families of children who are covered under the Maryland Child Safety Seat Laws.
- Child Safety Seats “must” be installed prior to reporting for your scheduled safety seat inspection, (this includes drive up inspections on Saturdays and Sundays) unless a disability prevents the individual from doing so.
- Any individual who requests Community Rescue Service to conduct a Child Safety Seat Inspection should be prepared to “actively participate” in the learning, correction of installation issues, and the proper installation process of the Child Safety Seat.
- Active participation from the parent, or caregiver during the inspection process is an important step in managing your child’s safety. “Active” Participation will help educate and enable an individual on the safe installation of child safety seats.
- The services above are offered by Community Rescue Service to help educate and instruct the public on proper Child Safety Seat installations.
- The Child Safety Seat Program at Community Rescue Service is an effort to provide a safer environment for the transportation of children.
- Child Safety Seat Inspections available;
- By appointment only; Monday thru Friday between the hours of 2p.m. and 5 p.m.
- Drive-up Times; Saturday and Sunday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- This program is provided free of charge, however donations are excepted to help maintain the Child Safety Seat Program here at Community Rescue Service.
